In a time of loss

This year has not been an easy one for not only my immediate family but also my extended one. It all started last summer when my dear Uncle Phil passed away of a massive heart attack. This was a hard one to deal with as it was so unexpected. I still had not bounced back from this one when we found out that Brad's cousin Krista had passed away of brain cancer. She was only 11 but had been fighting the fight since she was only four months old. Then at the very beginning of the year January 1, 2009 my sister Melissa lost her mother in law and then to top it all off on February 17, 2009 I lost my oldest cousin Jason. I know that if we all stick together that we will get through this tough time as a family. I just hope that they have all been reunited up there in heaven and I really hope that my cousin Jason has found peace that he was unable to find hoere on Earth with a loving and caring family. We love you all and hope to be reunited with and miss y in heaven waiting for us at the gates. I am hoping that we are done with tragedy and that we can move on to happier times. I do not know how much more tragedy that my mother and grandmother can take. In one year they have had to bury a brother/son and a nephew/grandson that were a huge part of their lives that relied on them for may issues which they dealt on a daily basis in their lives. I just want Jason, Phil and Krista to know that we all love you and miss you very much. All that I ask is that everyone support us through this time of grief and please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Love to all!!!!!

first blog

I decided that I better catch up with the latest fad and start my own blog so here it goes. I am going to try and keep everyone up to date with our lives but I am constantly on the go with the kids and college. I am staying super busy with college right now and for those that are not aware of it I will start at TAMUK in San Antonio in the fall and I am super busy. I thank every day for allowing me to concentrate on my studies and being the sole provider for the family. As far as the kids go Ethan is 12 and my baby girl is already four. I can not believe how fast they have grown and everyday I am amazed at the new things that they have learned in life. Ethan is doing great in school and will be in junior high next year and I am hoping to get Paige into a preschool for next year to get her ready for her "big school" the next. Hope all is well with everyone and hope to post again soon. Take care!!
